How to play
Go there
The map shows squares, parks, bridges, museums and favourite spots near you. Walk, cycle or take the train.
Check in
Once you are closer than 30 metres, the check-in button appears. If there is a QR code on site, scanning it earns extra points.
Collect
Every new place adds its card to your album and earns points. Points raise your level and your rank.

Every place has its own card. The more often you come, the more valuable it gets: bronze, silver, gold.

Fill your passport
In other cities and countries you are a visitor, earn more points and get a stamp in your passport.

Events and challenges
Special occasions bring bonus points – for example for visiting all Christmas markets in a city.

Follow other players, start a group with its own ranking or join a public one.

Shape the map
Send in photos and better positions. From 5,000 points you can suggest entirely new places.

Partner cafés and shops reward regulars, for example with a drink after the tenth check-in.

Questions
Does it cost anything?
No. District Legends is free, and there are no in-game purchases.
Do I need to install an app?
No. The game runs in the browser of any current smartphone. If you like, add it to your home screen with one tap – then it starts like an app and can send notifications.
What happens to my location?
Your location is only sent when you check in, to confirm you are really there. Other players never see where you are – only at which places you are mayor.
What if my city is not included?
Then you are rewarded as a visitor wherever you go. And new cities are added step by step.
Can you cheat?
The game detects faked locations and impossible travel speeds. Cheaters can be banned – and playing fair is more fun anyway.
